Terms of use of Molton Brown cards


Molton Brown reserves the right to update and change the terms and conditions of our Molton Brown cards at any time. This does not affect your legal rights. Use of your Molton Brown card constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and we therefore recommend you read them carefully. This Molton Brown card is the property of Molton Brown who maintains the right to cancel the card in situations where it is deemed necessary to do so.

The value of your Molton Brown card can be redeemed in any Molton Brown Emporia in the UK and Republic of Ireland, via our Manchester & Bluewater Day Spa's or online at www.moltonbrown.co.uk or www.moltonbrown.com. The card balance cannot be exchanged for cash or redeemed against the purchase of another card. Please note Molton Brown cards cannot be used in any Molton Brown counters within department stores or gift shops within hotels.

The maximum amount that an individual Molton Brown card can hold is £1,000; this limit cannot be exceeded by either performing balance transfers or top-ups.

For security purposes we strongly recommend that you 'Register your card'.

You can 'Top-Up' or perform a 'Balance enquiry' at any Molton Brown Emporia by taking your card to the till point or once your card has been registered with us online via our website.

Validity of Molton Brown cards


If your Molton Brown card is not used for 24 consecutive months, any remaining balance will be removed and the card will become invalid and no longer available for use. Use of your card includes top-ups, and balance transfers. Please look after your card and treat it like cash whilst it has an outstanding balance.

Lost/ Stolen/ Damaged Molton Brown


In cases where your Molton Brown card is lost or stolen, Molton Brown is unable to replace or reimburse the remaining balance on a card unless it has been registered with us online. Molton Brown cannot be held responsible for the any balance lost on a Molton Brown card as a result of theft or fraud. All Molton Brown cards have a unique PIN number hidden by a security panel on the back of the card which is required for online purchases. Molton Brown cannot be held responsible for the unauthorised use of your card online or in our Emporia where the card number and/ or PIN have become known to another party. Replacement cards will be posted to your registered home address only.

Should your Molton Brown card become damaged, Molton Brown will be able to replace the card providing you have either registered it with us online or you still have the card in your possession and the necessary details can be obtained. Please refer to our 'Register and protect your card' for further details.

Using a Molton Brown card


Customers may use their Molton Brown card in any participating country (UK, US and Republic of Ireland) or via our websites regardless of the country in which the card was purchased. Should you choose to use your Molton Brown card outside of the country it was purchased in, foreign exchange rates applicable on the date of the transaction will apply to any transactions performed. Please note any redemptions, balance enquiries, top-ups and balance transfers will be reflected in the currency applicable to the country you are using it in.

Crediting a Molton Brown card


Should you return product(s) purchased using a Molton Brown card for an exchange of a lesser value, any refund amount due will be credited to the original method of payment. In the event that you may have discarded your Molton Brown card, a new Card will be issued to you with the refund amount applied.

If a partial refund is made for any purchase using a Molton Brown card and another method of payment, then any refund amount owing will be credited to the Molton Brown card in the first instance.

If the total to be refunded is more than originally paid by Molton Brown card, then any remaining refund balance will be refunded to the other method of payment used (debit/credit card or cash).

Data Protection and Privacy Policy


Registering your Molton Brown card involves you disclosing personal information which includes your name, address, email address and phone number. The Molton Brown Privacy Policy applies wherever you are required to provide personal information.

Governing Law and jurisdiction


These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
