Do you have a passion for Ecommerce?  Are you enthusiastic, motivated and highly organised? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our ECommerce team as maternity cover for our Websites Manager. 

Job Summary

Enhance and execute Molton Brown’s e-commerce strategy driving profitable sales, individual

  • Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of all website content globally in order to ensure the site’s position as the top store in all markets.
  • Help drive the expansion and profitable growth of Molton Brown’s global e-commerce business
  • Expansion of the e-commerce offer beyond the UK and USA into Europe and Australia
  • Use analytics and performance information to report on e-commerce / website performance (sales, costs, product performance, customer behaviour, site metrics, etc), identifying and implementing opportunities for organic growth
  • Contribute to the development of the customer journey, website usability and overall customer experience online
  • Participation in an ongoing programme of testing / continuous improvement which optimises ATG platform functionality and customer experience, with the aim of driving rapid revenue growth and becoming and remaining a market leader within both the cosmetics and luxury sectors
  • Development of initiatives / business cases for additional revenue growth through further broadening of geographical reach, multi-channel retailing, additional functionalities and/or other digital commerce opportunities. Oversee the rollout and ongoing management of authorised initiatives
    • Work collaboratively with marketing colleagues to effectively communicate product launches, retail campaigns & promotions and partnership activity, driving footfall and incremental sales in both the e-commerce and conventional retail
    • Work with marketing colleagues to develop websites’ potential to act an effective hub for the brand, ensuring the information needs of consumers, business partners and prospective employees are met.
    • Involvement in all web-driven initiatives, harnessing emerging technologies such as mobile to modernise the marketing strategy and deliver on mid-term brand and commercial objectives
    • Ensure the Molton Brown brand strategy and positioning as a contemporary English luxury brand is effectively executed across all websites
    • Manage relationships with IT resources (internal and external) to ensure the website is maintained and enhanced in line with overall ecommerce and brand strategies
    • Manage and develop a websites assistant and any future team members to help you achieve the responsibilities set out above 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years retail website experience, including e-commerce for a recognised e-commerce brand or conventional retail brand with strong online proposition
  • Demonstrable involvement in the development and implementation of commercial e-commerce strategy
  • Significant technical understanding of e-commerce and emerging digital technologies
  • Commercially astute, with strong analytical skills and a clear focus on revenues and profits
  • Clear consumer focus
  • Strong team player, able to influence across a cross-section of disciplines and staff levels
  • Track record of managing and delivering projects on time and to the expected standard
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • People management and development experience, along with a philosophy of leading by example
  • Results-driven, with a high level of initiative and proven track record of delivering success through teamwork
  • Proven numerical skills – able to delve into data to draw out pertinent observations
  • Demonstrable process improvement skills
