- Malachite: high in mineral antioxidants.
- Enantia chlorantha bark: helps minimise the appearance of pores.
- Lime fruit: purifies and gives free radical protection.

This facial cleanser for oily skin has a gel consistency which lathers up into a gentle facewash to cleanse the skin of impurities and make-up. Malachite extract is high in anti-oxidants to help protect your skin from free radicals and the anantia chlorantha bark and lime fruit help to keep excess oils at bay.

- Dampen your face with warm water.
- Put 1 or 2 pumps of cleanser into your hands and rub together into a light lather.
- Using cupped hands, apply in light sweeping strokes from the base of the neck to the chin.
- Continue sweeping strokes across the jawline and upper lip.
- Massage cleanser in small circles across the cheeks and into the corners of the nose.
- Finish with sweeping strokes up the nose and onto the forehead.
- Rinse off with warm water.

Malachite Cleansing Gelle I bought this despite being unsure whether it would be right for my skin or not. It is described as being for "Normal to Oily skin." I have dry skin on my cheeks, but with the usual "Oily T zone." I had previously always used the Molton Brown Skinfresh facial wash, which is no longer available, but this is a great alternative. My skin has not dried out where it is dry anyway, and this gelle seems to keep my T zone more matte. I use it every morning in the shower as I love to "wash" my face rather than cleanse it as I do at night, and this product foams up wonderfully with just 2 pumps, and leaves my skin feeling beautifully clean. 16 March 2013

Bring back the old formula I always used to use the skinfresh facial wash which was fantastic at keeping my breakouts under control. I decided to try this version and have had more breakouts than when using much less expensive washes despite persisting with it. I am very disappointed as I was expecting the same if not improved results when compared with the old formula. 14 January 2013

Thank you for saving my skin! I tried a sample of the MB oily skin range a few weeks ago having had skin breakouts due to hormonal changes. I have since bought the Malachite Cleansing Gelle and Pink Toronja Refining Toner, as they really helped reduce my breakouts. My skin is now clear again and my pores are much smaller - I'm over the moon! The products all smell great, and seem to go a long way. The toner makes my skin really clean, without the 'tight' feeling some toners give. I'm now saving up for the moisturiser! 12 September 2012

Disappointing Have been using this now for three weeks and can honestly say that I have never been so disappointed with a Molton Brown product. Smells great but has made zero difference to my skin - if anything, I have actually experienced more shine and breakouts since I started using this! Just does not live up to the hype used to promote it, expected much more for the price and from this great brand. 09 September 2012

Fab facewash, not impressed with bottle! I love the quality of this facewash - but wish the packaging was consistently as glorious as its contents! The bottle top is really good and strong - but this emphasises how flimsy the plastic bottle is, and I can see that it may crumple with daily use. This is top money for facewash so I want the whole experience to match... 22 July 2012

Brilliant!!! I have used Clinique for years and fancied a change when I saw the new Molton Brown Skincare range. This new range is fabulous. All the fragrances are fresh and the product is very light. I am definately converted!! 25 April 2012

Absolutely gorgeous This cleansing gel is fantastic I suffer from fairly oily and blemished skin and within a few days it has cleared my skin. It smells really nice and makes my face feel really clean but not dry. Well worth buying, definately would recommend and will definately be buying again! 28 March 2012
